From Research
to Impact
Our story begins in cybersecurity research at Masaryk University. There, our members were among the founders who developed the KYPO Cyber Range Platform, an award-winning technology that became open source with the main focus on Europe.
In 2020, three Czech universities – Masaryk University, Czech Technical University in Prague, and Brno University of Technology – founded CyberSecurityHubcz – an expert organization shaping the future through research, services, and cutting-edge infrastructure. Their focus on direct practical impact resonated with our approach. We established CyberRangecz as an expert task force under the Hub’s umbrella.
